As others have shared unfortunately this is NOT suited for unlevel surfaces and in our modern cars sadly there are not many flat surfaces it has already fallen off the dash with my phone in it. however i am going to try and find a secure safe place somewhere in my car.

This is a cool item but I wasn't able to use it because it requires a perfectly flat surface and my car dashboard is slightly convex. I wish it were otherwise but there you are.

This little item is simple, effective and out of the way. Holds my iPhone perfectly. Vertical on the side of my counsel. Holder allows phone to be plugged in also if needed. Price is too high, I believe. But it is working perfect for my needs.
